20 months - 3 years old

This fun class is designed for toddlers to dance. Learning some basic ballet, hip hop, and jazz skills will allow the students to experience each style of dance while improving their flexibility, sense of rhythm, and overall coordination. In class, we dance with hula hoops, ribbons, and parents (if needed). Our main focus is to instill the love of dance.

Ages 3-10 years old

Students will continue to express themselves through the art of dance in this fun and interactive class. This class is built on the basic movements learned in the Ballet/Tap combo class but is still appropriate for the first-time dancer.

3 years old and up

Rhythmic gymnastics is an Olympic sport that combines ballet, dance, and acrobatics, with expressive movement and apparatus manipulation of the ball, clubs, hoop, ribbon, and rope. This sport is perfectly balanced for developing flexibility, strength, and hand/body-eye coordination. It has been used for years in Europe as part of the physical education regime in schools.

In this class your child will learn the important social skills including discipline, following directions, respect for seniors, interacting with peers, and making reliable friends in safe environment. Our coaches will instill a comprehension that it’s necessary to work hard to achieve their goals and they feel the excitement of getting new skills. They learn how to win and how to lose, and how to work in a team.

Ages 3 years old and up

Old School Hip Hop is our popular class concept that infuses the funky style of hip hop with an introduction to break-dancing. Students will learn the fundamentals of each style such as isolation and flexibility. This class will encourage students to dance outside of the box and bring their own personality to each movement. We pride ourselves on being a family oriented dance studio and go out of our way to find clean age-appropriate music.

Ages 5 years old and up

Hip Hop classes teach the fundamentals of hip hop movement. Drill routines are based on military drill to assist in precision dance movements. It is an upbeat and high-energy class. Stretching, isolations, rhythms, musicality, upper body and strength will all be incorporated. Students will learn to memorize choreography by working on a combination each class. This class will encourage students to dance outside of the box and bring their own personality to each movement. We pride ourselves on being a family oriented dance studio and go out of our way to find clean age-appropriate music.

Ages 6 years old and up

The goal of this class is to impart the fundamentals of classical ballet. This class focuses on basic ballet technique, proper body alignment, French terminology and musicality.

Ages 6 years old and up

This class teaches children the beginning fundamentals of jazz and modern movement. It also introduces the terminology of jazz and modern. It allows the students to learn to the sense of rhythm and coordination. It combines Modern and Jazz technique with a free form of movement and theme. This style of movement will allow students to express themselves and have fun with the class and interact with other students.

Ages 6 years old and up

More than dance class.  In an evermore changing social environment, this class uses dance to teach social responsibility.  The class begins with self visualization by exploring movement with emotions.  As the class progresses, we begin to practicing teamwork with contact improvisation, spatial awareness, and dance collaboration. By the end of the session, the class will be able to create an unique dance piece within boundaries of little direction.  This class is meant for your creative soul that is looking for an outlet.  Low structure, high impact.

Dance Explorers

for Summer Camps and Enrichment Programs - 3 years old and up

This is an enrichment program. Dance Explorers uses music to explore different cultures and dance styles.  This class is offered through our summer camps and at local school programs. We offer sessions such as "Exploring Latin America" and learn the conga line, tango, limbo and salsa.  Contact your school's enrichment program director for more details to register.
